VOLVO BLIS Aids Vision Limited Driver

Stephanie Hutcheson of Lancaster was unable to drive due to limited peripheral vision. Her eye doctor suggested she consider the Blind Spot Information System now featured on many Volvo models. She is thrilled to be driving again behind the wheel of her 2008 Volvo C30 equipped with BLIS.

Stephanie is pictured above pointing to the BLIS image detectors mounted underneath each side view mirror and the BLIS alert lights mounted on each door. Just another example of how Volvo puts safety first and foremost in automobile design - not only for accident survival, but for accident prevention following the charter pronounced by Volvo Co-Founders that "Cars are Driven by people The guiding principle behind everything we make at Volvo, therefore, is and must remain safety".
